Blomman Mr Blue's post offers a refreshing take on post-event decompression, illustrating how a collector unwinds after the sensory overload of a major watch gathering. His method of escaping to nature with a familiar timepiece provides a relatable perspective on finding balance and clarity amidst the excitement of the watch world.
After Paris with millions of peoples, thousands of cars, hundreds of watches, dozens of friends…
Head spinning after all great friends and watches seen in just one day…
I need to relax and process all impressions I got.
Will definitely have to re-arrange some of my wish lists…
So, how to handle this?
The answer is easy to break down into a few easy steps:
1 Take your car and steer it in the opposite direction from Paris.
2 Go to a well-known off location.
3 Example your summer house (please not the house in the pic is not mine).
Example of a typical Swedish summer house.
4 Put on an old friend, familiar, well known, safe – to calm your thoughts.
5 Check your gear.
6 Get into a boat.
7 Admire the view.
8 Catch dinner (Pike).
If you still don’t feel relaxed – repeat step 6, 7 and 8.
6 Get into a boat.
7 Admire the view.
8 Catch dinner (Pike).
