I really love this watch. It has been my go to during the lock down. The perfect size for a Rolex if you ask me.
A Rolex / Patek Philippe AD in Beverly Hills last night. The only steel, sports Rolex that I saw was a James Cameron Deep Sea ( which I bought immediately). I always liked that watch in spite of (or because of ) its absurd size. I did not see any other “Sports Models” on display.
I had been helping my brother hunt for a new Explorer 1. And when I saw this, I immediately called the boutique in his area and was able to get one same day! This is why this forum is the best. Cheers, AH
Now, frankly, I could care less if Rolex released more of their overhyped stainless steel Sports models to retail. 90% of all internet noise about watches these days seems to be some level of speculation about what Rolex will / won't do, and I would kind of hope this forum remains largely immune from it. That being said, enjoy your watch, it's a terrific model.
I like very much both watches but no, I haven't! Before the lockdown started I could get a nice, classic Tudor for my little one who will be 18 in a few days. I'll show the watch to the community soon!
I love the versatility of this watch!
