Alexxelor's post showcases a unique approach to collecting Rolex timepieces, focusing on New Old Stock (NOS) examples from the end of their production runs. This collection sparks a lively debate within the community about the philosophy of watch ownership: whether watches are meant to be worn and enjoyed, or preserved as historical artifacts.
Only the GMT Master 16710 was good for me! Welcome! HAGWE! EJR888.
very interesting.....perhaps you can explain more about the post? These are your watches.....and how long have you had them like this? Best, Joe
the first watch of my collection new old stock was 16710, incredibly extra full Set . I think that in these conditions is considered to be one piece. the two alphanumeric submariner arrived in 2010, they also extra full Set . the last two watches , the daytona, in 2016. it was difficult to gain possession . the watches are not for sale . i'm a rolex collector , i'm a rolex fan !!! regards
....so you started collecting these back in 2010......that is a very long time to own something without wearing them? It would be god to understand why you choose not to wear any of these Rolex?
16710 arrived in 2008
.....so that is 8 years with these watches in NOS condition sitting not being worn. As a Rolex "fan", why not wear them?
