Chk's post highlights the unexpected appeal of the two-tone '100 years' Rolex Oyster Perpetual, noting that its charm is often underestimated in photos. The discussion that follows delves into community opinions on this and other colorful Oyster Perpetual dials, exploring their in-person presence versus online images.

The reference 124300 represents the Oyster Perpetual 41 with a turquoise blue dial configuration. This particular series distinguishes itself through the distinctive dial colorway within the 41mm Oyster Perpetual range. The turquoise blue dial variant offers an alternative to traditional dial colors in the collection.
The 41mm case is constructed from Oystersteel with a smooth fixed bezel. A sapphire crystal protects the turquoise blue dial surface. The watch operates via automatic movement and maintains water resistance to 100 meters. The case diameter positions this reference as the larger option within the contemporary Oyster Perpetual lineup.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking a contemporary Rolex sports watch with unconventional dial coloring. The 41mm case size accommodates modern sizing preferences while the turquoise blue dial provides visual distinction from standard dial offerings. The combination of Oystersteel construction and automatic movement delivers the fundamental characteristics expected from the Oyster Perpetual collection in a distinctive colorway execution.
Having had both on the wrist, i agree the OP 100 years is much different (better) than on pictures. I like that model and it grows on me. However they will only produce it fir a couple of months…

Promised the AD I'd get it dirty if they get me one, no safe-queen! Curious to see if anything happens...
I thought that it was exceptionally charming! However, I must say, I wonder if it would be better suited to the Land Dweller than the OP. I liked the two-tone OP, but it didn’t sparkle like the Jubilee dial did! Still two great models on my favorite platform.
Have been waiting on one from the AD since the color change in 2021 or 2022 (September I think it was) when the Rolex green dial came out. Still waiting, chk
That was released a few years ago. It’s among my favorite watches. Hope you get yours soon!
