Unekual's acquisition of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm with a yellow dial highlights a common collector experience: an unexpected connection with a timepiece in person. This article explores why certain watches, initially overlooked in press photos, can become instant favorites once experienced on the wrist, as unekual discovered with this vibrant reference.

Got a call from the AD to have a look at the new Rolex watches, I wasn’t expecting to buy anything but as soon as I put this on the wrist I just couldn’t take it off ! Love the look and feel of the watch.

Also got to try the new Submariners and I have to say the new case is really nice on the wrist.

These new OPs are going to catch people by surprise and I think it's a good change to spice it up.

I didn’t like the fancy coloured dials at first but now we’re starting to see them on the wrist I’ve changed my mind. Yours looks great. Regards Kev.

That said, I wonder if there are Rolex names for these colours? 🤔
