... this is actually the sixth Rolex I've bought, but I ended up selling four of the other five. So I've started over with Rolex several times, but I'm planning to make this one a long-term keeper.

Yours is an interesting question because I have thin wrists and generally prefer smaller watches than most people do today. The short answer is that this model was available and I liked it, and I didn’t feel like waiting for a 36 mm to become available. But there are three basic reasons I didn’t agitate further about that choice: 1. I prefer the simpler layout of the dial on the 39 mm; I’m not drawn to the 36’s double-batons at 3, 6, and 9 or the little numbers on the racing track. 2. The 39 mm
