Rolex Turn-O-Graph Reference 6609
The reference 6609 represents Rolex's Turn-O-Graph series, distinguished by its rotating timing bezel functionality. Part of the Turn O Graph model family, this reference was produced during the 1950s-1960s period and features a black dial configuration within the collection.
The 37mm stainless steel case houses the automatic caliber 1065 movement, providing 42 hours of power reserve. The watch incorporates an acrylic crystal and offers 50-meter water resistance. The rotating timing bezel serves as the primary complication, while the black dial provides the visual foundation. An Oyster bracelet completes the configuration.
Reference 6609 appeals to collectors interested in mid-20th century Rolex tool watches with timing bezel functionality. The 37mm case size and stainless steel construction position this reference within the practical sports watch category of the era. The automatic movement and Oyster bracelet integration reflect the brand's technical approach during this production period.
