In a captivating thread, WatchProSite member penfriend shares a spontaneous Authorized Dealer call that led to his wife acquiring a vibrant pink Rolex Oyster Perpetual. Now, penfriend seeks community guidance on his own choice between a 36mm or 41mm green Oyster Perpetual, prompting a lively discussion on wrist presence, proportions, and personal style. This article distills the collective wisdom of the forum, offering valuable perspectives for anyone contemplating a similar decision.

AD called and surprised us with two colors. I never thought about these watches at all up to today so we went to take a look. My wife bought herself immediately the pink candy and I am pondering whether to take the green in 36 or 41. 41 seems to fit better for my 7.25 wrist but the 36 has better proportions as a watch. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!!

All depends if you want to go for a sporty vibe (41) or a classic size, I would consider what else is in your collection and in what setting you plan to use the OP.

I do have the 41 green (and my girlfriend went for the 34 black), and personally I would have no doubt between the 41 and 36mm for myself ;-) Here's a few random recent shots on my (and her) wrist: Her (small, Korean) wrists with both

so yes, 41 is sporty but 36 is not so much in the face. I also saw 41 in yellow but this was too much color for me
