Chronometer (aka yacomino) offers a unique glimpse into the exclusive world of Rolex's AD-hosted events, sharing his experience at a tennis quarter-final from the Rolex lounge. His post not only showcases various Rolex models on display but also captures the personal joy of sharing such an experience with his daughter. This article explores the allure of these events and the watches that captivate collectors and new enthusiasts alike.

My AD invited us to the Rolex lounge for the Tennis quarter finals last night and it was a blast I went with my daughter.  Most of the seeded players were out of the draw already but it was fun nonetheless.  Here are a few pictures…

A few watches were on display…

I am not a big fan of lefties watches but I must say this one feel great on the wrist…

The massive deep sea was in the house…

I think my daughter might have identified her graduation gift (ROFL)!  Thank god (for me) she still has a long way to go smile..

As for me I totally fell in love with this yellow gold DD!

Cheers!

Seems like your daughter inherited your good taste. How was the platinum DD by the way? Was that in 40mm or 36mm?

Thanks for the great pictures. As a matter of interest did they have the white gold Yachtmaster with the Falcon’s Eye dial? All the best, Jon

It’s nice to see Rolex events. The Exp looks best, in my eyes. Good choice Yacomino.

For a minute I thought I had missed a new DD purchase of yours 😂 I think your Explorer is better for that setting anyway 👍

It looks like a wonderful time. Maybe all the beautiful Rolex watches on display distracted from the tennis matches. Ha! Your daughter has excellent taste. Beautiful DD. And I have to agree 100% with you about your choice of DD. It happens to be the one that is my choice too. It's a stunning watch to wear and look and never boring on the wrist. Thanks for posting and pics.
