Cazalea takes readers on a visual journey through Japan, sharing various Seiko sightings encountered during his travels. From airport terminals to the Seiko Museum and the Wako Store in Ginza, this post offers a glimpse into Seiko's presence across different settings.

Hello gentlemen (and ladies, if present),

Greetings from a very wet California Purist, now in Tokyo, waiting for the arrival of typhoon.

I have been wandering around Japan for several days, spotting Seikos here and there.

This morning is our first chance to rest, download some photos, and find the Internet in a sitting position
(I'm not counting the temporary connection while bouncing in a bus seat or standing in a crowded hotel lobby).

Here are some Seiko sightings:

Coming off the airplane

Waiting in the terminal

In the Emperor's Imperial villa (gift shop)

Seiko Museum

Former era clock (not Seiko, but in museum)

Seiko Sports Timers

Gold Astron watch

New 2014 Astron Chronograph (with heavily used Kinetic Sportura Chronograph)

Wako Store, Ginza

same store, almost hour later

One of three (3!) display counters full of Grand Seiko, Credor and Galante.  Credit cards beware!

Thanks for taking the time to follow along. Have you seen any watches you like?  Shall I keep looking?

We have moved to Yokohama. Here is the group of watches traveling with us this month in Asia: We don't know what to expect of the weather today, and we've given up our van and driver. Could stay in and play with watches... Or could go shopping, old-style or modern but first, shave, shower and breakfast!
