my first catch for 2018 wooohooo !
A good value watch that makes me as happy as acquiring a haute horology piece smile

The dial looks like the cosmos with lighting . That’s the main reason why I got this watch. The movement is bare basic of course but winding it manually via the crown or via the automatic rotor as well as setting the date makes me feel the movement is robust and well manufactured.

I blame BeerStyle and another of our Purist friend in Singapore for this lol. BeerStyle got the blue enamel dial Seiko (5 pieces sold out in Singapore) and the other friend got this Starlight too and of course, I got “influenced” lol

Cheers
Robin

Fits your wrist well, on top of that stunning blue dial. Definitely makes me want to check it out in the metal now

Thankfully I won't be blamed by you for being an enabler this time. 😁

Is this the seiko version of Moser fume dial?

One of my criteria is that it has to have a certain kind of weight on the wrist.. not too heavy, and not tool light either.. I’m sure everyone here is familiar with that kind of feeling on the wrist.. that you have something good on the wrist even if you’re blind Thanks Robin. Looks to be an interesting piece for you. Hope it doesn’t go the way of your other GS Best, Echi
