SEIKO SCUBA DIVER 7S26-0020 AUTOMATIC DIVER
aka: SKX-009J1

the SKX line ...... LOVE them or HATE them ........

It was not really meant to be sold to some desk jockey collector who owned expensive watches. It is / was a CHEAP TOOL watch that could do what was expected of it, never claiming to be something that it was not. It was made to be abused and used, and if damaged, ruined or lost NOT to leave the owner ANY regret rather the thought " I can always buy another , it's cheap"

They were available back in the day ranging from 300 to 200 usd, BUT available on SALE for 150 usd. and always after some negotiating / haggling can be finally bought for 125 usd brand new in a box.

Fondly remember taking my SKX to the Bahamas and having a great time in the water

While I never had - always liked/respected them. They were affordable & had the ability to perform. Lots to like in my book Cheers JML
