Benlee338 shares an enthusiastic review of their Seiko 'Starlight' Presage, detailing a journey from skepticism to profound appreciation. This post highlights how an affordable timepiece can deliver exceptional beauty and satisfaction, often rivaling much more expensive luxury watches.

Just want to share my thoughts.

Well, I go from skepticism to "so cheap, just buy to see how is it" to "Wow" to "Can't stop wearing it".

This watch has been on my wrist since 11 days ago, with only a brief swap to an AP Diver for the weekend.

I love love love this watch. And it holds up remarkably well against all my much more expensive Swiss watches in the "beauty" department costing 10X, 50X or even 100X or more! It's truely remarkable how such a simple and affordable timepiece can be so well done and so captivating.

Sure, it doesn't have Lange like movement finishing and case finishing like PP or AP and the dial says "Seiko" ( for some brand snobs, it's a problem but not for me ) but bang per buck, this watch is just second to none.

Sorry, I have been singing the praise of this watch like a Seiko advertisement non-stop to anyone who will listen LOL! In my opinion, this watch need to be in the collection of all Seiko collectors, and also non-Seiko collectors alike. In most cases, it cost less than a hotel stay or a weekend family meal. What is there to hesitate about? No brainer if you ask me.

Sharing somemore pic.

I've been on the fence on this one since I already got the blue enamel...trying to exercise some "discipline"...but it's hard....lol.. You really have a stunner on your wrist! I can say that I share the same sentiment as yours...I've been wearing my Seiko for many days as well and really love it..for the same reasons you stated above!

Not that we’d suddenly turn our backs on a Patek or a Rolex, but that we’d probably be looking for something a little bit more extra for the price difference. Personally, it explains the reason why I usually just play within the 5-10K USD range for a watch. Sadly though, real value propositions like this one are few and far in between still. Best, Echi PS really diggin’ that particular blue dial of the presage
