His post, featuring striking images of the U1, invites the community to weigh in on its design, functionality, and how it compares to other Sinn novelties like the U50. This thread provides valuable insights into what makes Sinn a revered name in tool watches.

I wonder, are the movements the same in U1 and U50? Thanks for posting. M4
A great tool watch. The Sinn watches are made of submarine steel their sturdy as a tank. Their watch cases. Geross
Inside the case is a tried-and-tested automatic movement, the Sellita SW300-1 (clone of ETA 2892) with 4Hz frequency and 42h power reserve.
I have always liked Sinn, admire their build quality and brand ethos, but personally I struggle to accept this hand set. It reminds me too much of 8-bit Nintendo. I'm glad this watch exists in whatever size that makes people happy owners. P.S. would love them to downsize EZM5 just a tad... that would be compelling
I really like Sinn and I love quirky divers (doxa!) but I yet have to add a Sinn diver, the new models may be the answer!
Especially with this combo
