AndrewD shares a nostalgic photo essay from his visit to 'Snakland' with Art, a year after IGOTT2, celebrating friendship and shared passion for watches. This post offers a glimpse into a private collection and the enduring camaraderie within the WatchProSite community.
Hi All,
I was going to post this up next week as it will be 12 months since IGOTT2 and PuristS 11th anniversary. But because we are celebrating Snak’s wonderful contribution to PuristS [click here], this is the perfect opportunity.

It’s fun going through old pictures. You never quite know what treasures are lurking.
After posting up all the IGOTT2 reports [click here] I must have been exhausted and overlooked these. But on this 11th Anniversary of PuristS what better time to revisit the friendships and watches?
After IGOTT2 and back in Los Angeles, Art and I spent a lovely morning ‘winding’ down by visiting MrSnak in Snakland. After looking at a few watches we went out for lunch and more conversation. You would think that 4 days of IGOTT would have got the watch stuff out of our systems, but far from it.
Hope you enjoy these images ...

The Snakmobiles ...

All such warm and happy memories.
Thanks again, Snak.

.. Disneyland me thinks ... . I'm jealous ... congrats on your 4K posts Snak ! Vive la France ... well at least Vive Renault !!! Bim
Yes, IGOTT II will forever stay in our mind... A warm welcome, many friends, Passion, watches, what can I say? Snak is a great " Monsieur ", to match with one of his cars, the Red Caravelle; Now, I remember he has this stainless steel Gruen, which is presented as a Pan Am watch, sometimes. Damn, I want to come back to So Cal! All the best, Nicolas
I hope we can meet again soon!
It was a perfect few hours. Great company, watches, hospitality and food. Lovely memories. Hope you enjoyed reliving them too. Warm regards, Andrew
While it was hard to choose a favourite, particularly amongst the great Omega's, I recall the Chonographe Suisse bicompax single pusher chrono with the red highlights very clearly. Cool watches. Andrew
... or Universal Studios when in LA. Snakland was THE place to visit. ;-) We had a lot of fun. Andrew
