Gerard, known as jlux on the forums, shares his recent acquisition, a watch he describes as having strong 70s vibes and surprising lume. His post delves into the aesthetic appeal and comfort of this particular timepiece, highlighting its unique blend of forged carbon and steel. Gerard's personal experience offers valuable insights into the watch's wearability and perceived value, especially in comparison to higher-priced brands.

Impulse buy and lots of wearing pleasure (even my wife likes it)  smile .

I was initially going for the yellow version but the blue really shouted out loud : get me !!

Strong 70ies vibes and an attractive mixture of forged carbon and steel.

Surprising and cool lume!

Very comfortable on the wrist being light and with a clever closing system for the strap.
I also got me the black rubber strap : looks equally good but more toned down.

Now put another brand name on the dial and we have a watch that would sell for multiples of the actual modest price !!

Best,
Gerard

I just witnessed another watch collector yesterday make a big impulse buy! Seems like it happens quite often! I try to resist the impulse buys myself. But sometimes I can't help myself!

Blue & yellow are my favourites from this series. I like how they've incorporated some blue carbon flecks into the blue version. Cheers JML

I think you picked the best one! The blue in the case matches this version splendidly!

The one my friend did was low 5 figures. And mine are generally mid 4 to low 5 figures. I did impulse buy a Tissot PRX and an Omega Speedmaster. Both have never left their boxes nor have even had their bracelets sized yet.
