Hello, everyone. I will be visiting Europe this Spring. ( I was going to make a joke about invading Europe but that might not be very funny these days.) I leave June 6th (4 months from today) and will arrive the morning of June 7th in London. I'll be there until Saturday, June 10th when I fly to Zagreb.

From there I go to Prague (the 13th); Paris (the 15th) and back to London June 18th. I leave for home on the 20th.

Last year I got to meet a few PuristS in London and Paris. I look forward to meeting a bunch more of you this trip.

To celebrate this momentous (to me) event, I prepared a very special meal for tonight.

3 of the watches I will be bringing with me, straddling the special ingredient for tonight's meal.

Preparation.

Olive oil as the base, with the garlic.

The tomatoes with the base.

Heating the frying pan for...

SAUSAGE.

Herbs added.

About done.

Ready for slow-cooking.

For a moment I was tempted; but I held off, Arie. Still in.

Tuscan wine for a Tuscan dinner.

I look forward to the trip and meeting PuristS friends in person. Can't wait.
