Bobbe's decision to trade his Tudor Black Bay Bronze for the Black Bay 58 Navy Blue highlights a common collector's dilemma: balancing aesthetic appeal with wearability. His detailed account and stunning photography offer a compelling look at why the BB58's proportions and fresh blue dial resonate deeply, even for those who already own a beloved Tudor reference. This article explores Bobbe's personal journey and the community's shared appreciation for this highly regarded timepiece.

My Black Bay Bronze did not get that much wristtime anymore, because of the 43 mm and my preference for 38-40 mm diameter watches. The BB58 blue had caught my attention during the summer of 2020, but hey, I already had a BBB. Until last week, I suddenly changed my mind and made a deal on my bronze and bought a '58. Yesterday I made the trip to Antwerpen, an almost 2 hour drive to pick up the watch in person . No explanation needed to say what a great watch it is: 39 mm, l2l 47mm, fresh blue dial, with silver colored hand and circumference dots, brushed lugs and polished sides. And an in-house caliber, for those who realy like that. I don't like the fake rivet bracelet and decided to buy it on a leather strap.

Perhaps some good memories of enjoying summer evenings with your friend ,Gino, at an outdoor pub will ease your sadness. Such memorable summer evenings are what come to mind when I think of Antwerp. A very friendly city. And good chocolates.
