Pkonos shares an unexpected acquisition, the Tudor Black Bay P01, a watch that diverted his original hunt for the 'Monarch.' His post highlights the immediate appeal of its robust build and distinctive design, offering a firsthand account of its wearability and accuracy. This provides valuable insight into the experience of acquiring and living with a less common, yet highly characterful, modern Tudor reference.
And came out of the AD with this piece, the Black Bay P01.
I’ve had it on my wrist for the past several days straight and I’m really enjoying its solid feel, impressive accuracy out of the box (+0.5 sec./day), and the cool tool watch vibe that I get from the brushed finishing all around the case and bezel, and the unique locking claw/clamp at 12 for the bi-directional bezel.

I loved the weird tool vibe from this immediately when it came out, but I didn't think I had the wrist for it. How are you finding it sizewise, in length-across-the-wrist terms?
I definitely don't have the wrist for it, either, but I've developed a high tolerance (out of necessity) for the huge watch on a small wrist look, a.k.a. the Clown Watch look 😀
If I'm not mistaken iy disappeared from the catalog in 2024. And introduced in 2019 Never was a good seller so probably not that many were made ... Well not that many for being a Tudor but thats probably still thousands
So I was glad to snare one while I could.
