MichaelC, a seasoned collector, shares his initial impressions of the Tutima Patria Titanium, a timepiece that has long captured his interest. His detailed examination and comparison to "higher" end brands like Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe offer a valuable perspective on the watch's quality and finishing. This article delves into why the Patria Titanium stands out, particularly its tactile experience and aesthetic appeal.

I am pleased to share a newly acquired timepiece.  Tutima has interested me for many years.  When I saw this grey version of the updated Patria, it was a must try.  Through some very fortunate connections, here it is.

My initial thoughts on the quality is that it is well on par with my "higher" end brands like AP and PF.  The first thing I do when I receive any new watch is examine the accuracy of the hands alignment, hour markers, etc.  All perfect on this one.  Not sure I have tried a sheepskin strap before, but consider me a fan.  Awesome tactile sensations through the crown and winding mechanism.  Nicely finished movement.  The 41mm polished titanium case is light and wonderfully finished.  Grey was the easy choice for me, but the silver and black dials are also compelling.

Happy to be on board with a new brand to start 2026.

What metal is the movement made of? It looks really nice.

I first came to know about the Patria when it came out with the blue dial, I liked it quite a bit but was worried it may wear too big. The recent gray dial and Titanium case reminded me about this piece, I have to say it is really attractive, as I love both the material and the dial color. Looking forward to seeing more live pics!

seriously funny. Here is the screenshot from my phone of the cover of your post. Now I’m no expert on bras per se. I have tried to take them off various women in my youth, but I was unaware that they were tiered as you point out. 😂
