Jay (Eire) sparks a fascinating discussion among WatchProSite's discerning collectors, inviting them to reveal the watches in their personal collections that defy expectations. His own G-Shock Metal, a departure from his usual horological posts, serves as the perfect catalyst for members to share their 'least expected' timepieces. This thread explores the diverse and often surprising tastes that enrich the world of luxury watch collecting.

G shock, My watch life started with it. I own and wear a quartz watch. Not real a WPS way. Why i wear a quartz next to my automatics is, i am brand orientated. The brand is the main route, than i look at the way time given on the dial. Passion for the brand, and great when all boxes are fine. So for example Vacheron Constantin, no problem when they use also quartz for their watches. This watch, the Rolex Oyster quartz, on my list to collect. A tru collectors item.
A gift from my dear brother.
UN 160 Anniversary. I hated it when I saw the first press files pictures, I loved it when I saw it in the real life. Lesson learnt: Do never judge a watch before seeing it in the metal!
MRG model limited to 300 pieces Although I wear it not that often I cannot part with it
Similar but a little different. Lots to love with these.
If the air pressure is accurate I guess it’s a very helpful tool.
