Since I posted the Vacheron Constantin 1972 Prestige de la France, so I thought to give it a shot again. A casual pairing for a lunch date - dresses both up and down fairly well (within reason). The only downside is that the strap is proprietary, which means that changing them is complicated.

No, it is probably the only one, where I have no strap choice...

The strap is specially attached and I guess VC is the only source. Apart from a black one for the Paris Boutique edition I am not sure other options exist...
