Amanico recounts a captivating tale of a Vacheron Constantin Ref. 6563 in steel with a blue dial, a watch that twice eluded his grasp. This narrative highlights the often-frustrating yet thrilling pursuit of rare vintage timepieces in the collector's market. His detailed observations on the watch's dimensions and aesthetic appeal underscore its desirability.

very simple & very elegant VC ! Best, mahesh.,
Thanks for sharing the photos. I do not concern myself with the specific number of mm in case size anymore. It is merely a question of how it looks and feels on the wrist. It is only a number, after all. All best, respo
Beautifully designed, superbly made and discrete.
I would be cautious, if coming across the same watch at several dealers. And if its even expensive for you to buy this watch, I would be even more cautious. Spontaneous purchases bear a high risk to be not objective and therefore to spend to much or even wrong. Do you know were are the weak spots with this range of refs? Did you check them carefully? In my view you did very well, not to buy it. Never run after a tram or a watch. Just be patient – the next opportunity will come along for sure.
perhaps the reason why is because it looks so good and it gets sold fairly quickly. Would love to get those any day - only if there were in stock!
Maybe that JLC watch would be a smart choise regarding your funds.
