Speaking from experience, as I took quite the same route as you. Don’t take me wrong, I’m not trying to discourage you from going this way - rather I want you to be prepared. I love the 6562 for its quintessential VC beauty and for the color scheme. Top choice! The world timer is a first for me, I‘ve never seen anything like it from VC. There are outstanding books on VC‘s history and of the watches they made in this quarter millennium. This is a great starting point to go down the VC rabbit hole
Some reading seems to be in order. Something has just clicked. I can't explain why I've suddenly tuned in to VC in a way that I haven't with its peers. That's interesting in and of itself. I'm more than happy to digest what the knowledgeable folk here have to say - there are some top drawer contributors. As for getting lost, let's see.
