Jurry's Vacheron Constantin with its captivating moon phase display continues to enchant collectors, years after his initial post. His candid photos, despite self-professed imperfections, beautifully highlight the watch's character and its life beyond a safe queen. This article delves into the enduring appeal of this specific Vacheron Constantin model, exploring its unique features and the community's appreciation for its horological artistry.
Tried capturing the jump from 31/12 to 01/01 but there had been too much champagne consumed that the exposure and focus of most was terrible.
These few are the best and to my Shane coz they are still pretty lousy.
Didn’t want to post them but then, that dial that moon face made me post it anyway.
And as you can see by those mini scratches (barely visible to the naked eye) it’s not a safe queen but I actually wear it and on many different occasions.
Hope you’ll like it

Key Points from the Discussion
- The Vacheron Constantin moon phase display is particularly notable for its expressive facial details, setting it apart from other brands that also produce excellent moon phases.
- The unique watch winder accompanying Jurry's Vacheron Constantin features a non-scratch silicone grip for the crown and an innovative mechanism that rolls back two turns after winding to prevent over-stretching the mainspring. It also repeats the winding process every 24 hours if the watch remains unworn.
- Another collector shared an image of what they referred to as the 'granddaddy' of Jurry's Vacheron Constantin, showcasing a historical predecessor.
