Compare Gen 3 vs Gen 2.

The new watch is fantastic...but i prefer the gen 2 dial.

Rubber and leather straps are included in the package.

I dont like the new overseas bracelet deployment.....feel weak compared with Gen 2 Overseas. The Gen 2 Overseas bracelet deployment is one of the best and robust (comparable to the new AP Jumbo ultra thin).

The new deployment for the straps is easy to switch but very delicate piece and need to be careful. It can bend if you are not careful.

Overall, i like the new Overseas Chrono Gen 3. Which color dial would you choose? Blue, Brown or Silver?

don't think you could possibly go wrong with either. And yes, I do prefer the textured dial to the plain one . I'd pick silver for the dial. Thanks for the pics, cheers, Filip

Just for this "little" detail, I much prefer the 49150. But, of course, it's just my own taste. Otherwise, regarding the dial colour, i would go for the blue of brown. Less "boring" than the silver one as they both offer a better contrast with the case if it's a steel one. Best wishes Alkiro

I ended up with a 4500 time only. I like the strap changing, it isn't as fragile as it seems. I have been changing them for a year all the time and no problem. As for the dial, I went with blue and absolutely love it. Brown is also very nice, but my slight preference to the blue.

Is the biggest "fault"!!!!!!!!! Enjoying my Gen2 Overseas in white dial (the best one to my opinion)!!!!!

what keeps me from beginning to engage with the new 5100 and 5200 in-house calibers is the lack of developmental and technical information from the Manufacture. Aside from considering the cosmetics, I'd really like to know how these movements were developed, the challenges, and the merits. Too bad they didn't consider them worthy of a publication as issued for earlier in-house calibers. Independent analysis would follow as gravy on the poutine ;-)
