In this climate yes the rubber strap is great, especially on the beach (although in summer time the only people at the beach are tourists, no one living here goes in August to the beach) but it’s also great if you’re home a take a dive in the pool
in this configuration. Under appreciated watch for sure.
A little over my current budget, but definitely on my list. Are the chrono pushers the screw-down type (like the Rolex Daytona)? Wear it in good health
VC as a whole seems less understood by the hip/hype crowd, so watches like this fly under the radar as compared to ROC or Daytona. I guess that's what makes it so refreshing.
Still wearing my 4500V. Tried the leather strap earlier this week. Really soft and comfortable. The deployment clasp is great too. Best, V.
