foversta, a seasoned collector, shares his journey to acquiring his first Vacheron Constantin, detailing the thoughtful process behind selecting the Overseas Dual Time. His initial impressions and striking photography highlight the watch's practical complications and versatile design, offering readers a personal glimpse into the allure of this reference. This piece underscores the importance of choosing a timepiece that aligns with one's lifestyle, a key consideration for any luxury watch enthusiast.

As you know, I was looking to buy my first Vacheron Constantin. I hesitated between several models, basically 3 Overseas and the chronograph Cornes de Vache.

Considering my life style, the ability to change easily the straps/bracelet, I finally chose an Overseas. But which one ? In the end the most appealing for me was the Dual Time thanks to its original dial lay-out and its practical additional complication.

Here are a few pictures sadly taken under the rain for most of them. Well, a good way to test the rubber strap!

More will come later!
