Dear fellow Purists,

Yesterday I had the time to take a few shots of this marvel. There's no need to introduce the Overseas, and the QP version has been around in various iterations for about 4 years. What's new is the Skeleton version, which in my opinion is one of the most attractive "modern" style openworked watches on the market today. I'll let the pictures do the talking here.

The movement is based on the same Cal. 1120 as found in other iterations of the Overseas Perpetual, here with a black NAC coating for added visual contrast. The coating is the same as on the Twin Beat, where it was first introduced.

Here a a few more details of the front side...

...and the gorgeous moon phase (depending on the light, you can see the lines connecting the star signs)

Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I do...

Cheers,
Daniel

Thanks for sharing. That movement is beautiful. As much as I like traditional finishing, this new treatment makes a modern approach that is refreshing. Sublime. -kevin

The skeletonized rotor and baseplate are particularly attractive.

Thanks a lot for these amazing pictures. I’m left for words! The watch is beautiful and thanks to your comparison, I now appreciate the NAC treatment: it makes the movement even more stunning! Cheers, Jérôme

Some great new offerings in the Traditionnelle and, dare I say it, even the 56 line is garnering more attention.

I especially loved the fact that you included the shot of the two variations of the movement next to one-another. Thanks, Filip
