My favorite Overseas, I must say. And one of my favorite complication, too.

And cherry on the cake, I find this dial magnificent.

About the Vacheron Constantin Overseas World Time Ref. 7700V/110A-B172

The Overseas World Time represents Vacheron Constantin's modern interpretation of the travel watch, building upon the Overseas collection's DNA established in the 1990s. This contemporary piece bridges the brand's classical haute horlogerie heritage with the practical demands of global travelers, positioning itself as both a luxury sports watch and a sophisticated complication timepiece within the Overseas family.

The watch features a distinctive world map dial with dual-hemisphere display, showcasing major cities around the outer periphery for instant time zone reference. The caliber 2460 WT movement drives the world time function, with the characteristic Overseas case profile featuring the integrated bracelet design language and the brand's signature Maltese cross crown. The blue gradient dial and rubber strap combination reflects the collection's maritime inspiration while maintaining the technical sophistication expected from the Geneva manufacture.

As one of the more accessible complications within Vacheron Constantin's portfolio, the Overseas World Time occupies a strategic position between entry-level luxury sports watches and seven-figure grand complications. The piece appeals to collectors seeking both daily wearability and horological substance, though it commands a significant premium over comparable world time pieces from other manufacturers. Its production numbers remain relatively limited compared to mainstream luxury sports watches, contributing to its exclusivity within the contemporary market.

What has prevented me from purchasing was the readability when I tried it. Too much info on the dial distracted me to get the info I wanted. Other than that size was perfect for me, even if it looks on paper quite big.

.. no wonder, with 37 time zones. Nevertheless, I always have a soft spot with WTs/UTs.. Thx for sharing; guess not that easy to get a good shot of this dial.. Best 😊

Thanks for sharing. I miss both the Traditionnelle World Time and the Overseas World Time. I miss these old VC models from 2006 until 2016.

World Timers www.watchprosite.com I remain deeply in love with V&C's Cottier-type pocket watches, especially if they mention the Klondike
