These skeletons are haunting
...the sub-dials are all quite readable. Quibbles: maybe blue the hour and minute hands for contrast (I personally would do them in yellow gold)...and VC's leap year solution is not ideal...
OK readability is not top but seeing a small hand turning in 4 years must be quite a philosophical experience
...that doesn't mean it's the best way to do it. PP handles this quite well IMHO...look at the 3940 for reference.
