Friends,

Two shots of the Vacheron Constantin Quai de L'ile with blue dial.

The structure of the case I find absolutely fantastic! The "multi-level" lugs and case sides makes the watch look quite sporty.
Not round, not square, something in-between.

On the larger side for a dress watch, the steel case is 41mm (50.26mm lug tip to lug tip), but only 11.75mm thick.

The blue dial is very nice and goes very well with the matching blue strap.
The grey hands can be a bit hard to see but with the big luminous areas on the hands, it should not be any problem to read time.
A bit unusual way to display the date, arrow indicator rotating around the date "wheel" (seen in the photo on 14).

The futuristic case design is followed by an equally futuristic decoration of the movement.
The very flat rotor covers half of the movement, but underneath a beautiful polishing work is done.
As on most (all?) Vacheron movement (Calibre 5100/1), the Hallmark of Geneva is there.

I would sum this watch as - Futuristic with finesse!

That case...the complexity of it is just jaw-droppingly beautiful.

a clever mix passing for dress duty and sports in equal measure just needs an integrated bracelet option which will never happen as it would eat the OS3's lunch. Velociphle

Usually I do not like when brands create watches that are much cheaper than they use to do but in the end I think that with this watch you get a lot of quality and a great name in the haute horologerie. As you said the movement is well the decorated but again, just like many times happens, the rotors covers all the beauty (it happens also with Breguet Patek and other brands). No matter if brands try to make the looking better, in my opinion the remain always quite ugly with very few exception. A

I would not go as far as say its ugly.... To me, VC did a good work designing the rotor is style with the watch. Yes, a manual mobvement or a micro rotor would allow us to see mkore of the beautiful decoration... Even a non solid rotor would have been better... But then the price range would probably look different. Best Blomman
