I'd love to learn about that one too...was it a special version for the Japanese market, or perhaps the first version in the late 1990s before the std. production Ref. 47245 came out in 2000? From the current collection, the Patrimony Skeleton QP... A true piece of Art, definitely one of my 3 favourite QP. And from the past, this 31 Days, Retrograde, open dial. This one always intrigued and fascinated me. Can't tell why, it is not the most beautfiul Vacheron,, nor the finest, but it has a lot of charm. Thanks for sharing the extraordinary moment with us! VC treats its customers and collectors very, very well, and they create very special, memoroble events like this one. Now as to the watches in attendance, I don't even know where to begin. Surprsing to me is that I think the special version of the RG day-retrograde date is my favorite of the evening. What a gorgeous piece. I know Dan has already asked for more information, and hopefully someone will know more. And a a white gold Saltarello right next to it on one side with an openface day-retrog
