Returning known stolen merchandise to the thief. No excuse regardless of jurisdiction, international aspects, etc. They should be held accountable.
What they have done to Nico, and probably others that we are not aware of, is unbelievable.
If I get a watch from auction I would avoid this house. They put profit above integrity. Probably a client who posts many lots with them (maybe many of nefarious origin), or their legal team just said to get uninvolved. I'd say they had the chance to do the right thing, makes them complicit.
