This article highlights the subtle yet significant differences that define these exceptional timepieces.

The Langematik Jubilee and the Credor Kuon.
Seeing their pure and (almost) immutably white dials on my wrist never fails to bring me joy.
The Jubilee needs no introduction.
The Kuon, quietly introduced last year, may be less familiar.
For those interested, I wholeheartedly recommend the excellent and enthusiastic write-up on it by fellow Purist, T J (who has wryly dubbed it, “the Baby Eichi”).
The Lange will have greater universal appeal, I assume, with its classic case size, dial design elements and proportions. The Kuon will be more polarizing and an acquired taste, with its curvaceous (and superfluous?) crown guards and peculiar hour/minute hand shapes -- hewn like the Washington Monument, sliced and miniaturized.
The Jubilee is always remarkable to behold and its Pt heft nice and reassuring on the wrist. The Kuon’s blued Spring Drive seconds hand is meditatively smooth (and curiously calming to watch) and its bracelet as lithe and comfortable as they come.
While I’ll be giving them equal eye-time, I’ll be having the Kuon more often on my wrist in the coming months, as I tend to save the Jubilee for the more formal (and less frequent) occasions in my life, and as I'm somewhat loath to wear its leather strap during Japan’s hot and sweltering summer season.
Thank you for looking,
HAGWE everyone !
...the Lange is world-class and iconic.
beautifuly described, thank you for sharing
..the Credor crown guard seems to flow seamlessly from the case...would love to see it on strap.
Am very happy with an under-the-radar Kuon and the iconic Lange.
It might well look nice with a strap, but, unfortunately, Credor doesn’t offer a strap option and, due to the integrated bracelet construction, I don’t believe that one off the shelf would work…
Thank you for looking!
