Lankysudanese's original post captures the all-too-common frustration of missing out on a highly anticipated watch release due to technical glitches. This experience, while personal, resonates deeply within the collector community, highlighting the intense demand for limited-edition independent timepieces. His post serves as a poignant entry point into a broader discussion about the accessibility, value, and mechanics of sought-after watches from independent watchmakers.

This one is 500pcs....wonder why the jump? Must be the demand....
So paying double that is out of the question.
But life goes on! I definitely wanted to support Hajime Asaoka, but unfortunately I couldn't get one of these special watches. I wished I could see the watch before buying it in person, I'm a little worried about the proportions of a 38mm case with such a thick case, but I definitely like this dial. Frame of the date window might be a bit too thick/bold for my personal tastes, but overall I did like the dial very much. Plus it's a column wheel movement in this Kurono timepiece! That's really goo
So i went grey. Had my kurono fix and didnt even bother with this one.
Never understood this hype. Hajime his own hand made watch is something I get. This on the other hand.... could as wel buy a voutilainen phone...
Somehow I never heard of this one. What movements does William’s team source for them?
