blomman Mr Blue initiates a fascinating discussion on watch wearing habits, challenging his own routine of daily watch changes by committing to wearing the same seven watches for two consecutive weeks. This experiment explores the psychological impact of limiting choice and invites the community to share their own approaches to watch rotation. His post sparks a lively exchange about the balance between variety and consistency in a collector's daily life.
Two weeks ago I started to present which watch I was planning to wear the next day.
The first batch: home.watchprosite.com
After the first week I wore the same watches for one more week.
This was a bit out of my normal behaviour...
Normally I wear a watch one day and then I change.
Some times I wear the same watch several days the same week, sometimes not, but never the same watch two days in a row.
Nothing new here.
What was new to me was that on the second week I could not choose freely!
To be able to wear the same watches one more round in seven days I had to stick to the first week's selection...
Strange feeling, almost claustrophobic...
Good or bad to alter your own behavior?
I don't know - but I will try this one more round with seven new watches.
So....
....
Tomorrow I am planning to wear this...
To honor Nicolas and his fetish of Swedish cars, the backdrop is made of a classic Swedish candy - "Bilar"!
Bilar=Cars... Swedish candy cars!
What's your plan?

I have a small collection of watches. I wear one each week in rotation. For a special or night, I'd pick one which is appropriate. There are two reserved for weekends. Even if the no. of watches is down to 4 for a one-week rotation, each is worn only 13 weeks in a year i.e approximately 3 months. But in days, each is worn approx. 65 days a year. The weekend watches has 52 days on-the-wrist time.
I'm traveling with two watches (two weeks!). It go to be this: Missing this one: Wearing at this very moment: Cheers, Nilo
Interesting that you can tell exactly how many days per year you wear each watch. I guess many of us here are not able to do that! Would you mind sharing some pics of your watches? Best Blomman
That got to hurt! ;) Last winter I had only one watch for two week during vacation... Great vacation, but not that fun - watch wise! Have a safe trip, my friend! Best Blomman
Hope you will have a great day! Here it looks to become a sunny day. Cold, but sunny! :) Best Blomman
The Scafograf is way cool. The same style as Matts? Best Bill
