Just returned from a family holiday in some places in Switzerland, Germany and France. Here are some of the watch related photos I took along the journey.
Took a cable ride above the Rhine in Rudesheim, Germany.
Heidelberg
Saw this on the wrist of a hotel front desk manager. He was very happy to meet someone who knows it. None of his colleagues ever paid attention to his watch.
In the small french town of Riquewihr.
The clock on the wall of my hotel in Bern, Switzerland.
Glow of the setting sun in the Swiss capital.
On the highway towards Geneva.
In front of the United Nations.
Lucky to have such a nice weather and clear view of the Mont Blanc.
Wall clock at my hotel reception in Zermatt, Switzerland.
Just around the corner of my hotel...
Lucky again. A full view of the Matterhorn!
Morning in Zermatt
Wall clock at my hotel in Interlaken, Switzerland.
My luck continues on Jungfrau!
Last time I came it was so foggy that I could not see a thing.
This time? Just fantastic!
My elder son saw and liked this watch in the shop on Jungfrau. I bought this age appropriate mechanical watch for the 15 year-old. The warranty card is stamped with "Jungfrau". Cool!
The IWC boutique in Lucern was just opened days before I arrived, and I came out with this...
My 12 year-old younger son decided that he's not ready for a mechanical watch, so he picked up this.
At the balcony of my hotel in Oberstaufen, Germany.
Wife and me in Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany.
At the balcony of Kempinski Hotel near Konigssee in Germany.
It was a really enjoyable holiday. But sad to know the tragedies in France and Germany.
May peace and brightness be with the whole world.
