Fernando provides an initial, unplanned tour of the inaugural Watches & Wonders exhibition in Hong Kong, sharing his excitement for this significant horological event in Asia. Despite using phone pictures, his post captures the atmosphere and highlights key attractions, inviting fellow Purists to experience the exhibition.
Did a quick unplanned tour of the W&W first Asia Horlogerie Exhibition in HK this morning to see what it was all about. An absolute amazing event and a must see for anyone who is remotely interested in timepieces! I stayed longer than expected and plan to return on the 28th. Sept. which is the last day of the event when I hope to meet a few fellow Purists who are coming from abroad especially for this event.
I was very glad to bump into a few friends including the CEO of PuristS, Mr. MTF or Mel to his friends - (without the current Mrs MTF I might add).
As usual, no camera with me so please excuse the poor phone pics.

A nice tour, and not bad pictures considering .... Can you give any details of the very special Lange 1 Tourbillon PC I saw hidden amongst your pictures? It looks spectacular ! Dean
That's the Handwerkskunst version limited to 15 pcs. boutique edition, that's just been unveiled today. It looks much better in the metal I may add. :) cheers fernando
What a marvel. Platinum I assume. Thanks F, Dean
The big bird! new panerais some VC minute repeaters (olds & new) Thanks for looking. :) And If you're in town, don't miss this wonderful show ( the first in Asia). Probably the closest thing to SIHH and Baselworld combined! Cheers fernando
Lange above the crowd IMO. Thanks for the great post
Looks so elegant and thin! Very classy and understated. I will be there tomorrow and Fri attending some tours and presentations from Lange, Montblanc (with Mr Cabbidu!!), VC. So looking forward! Will say hi to any purists there! Cheers Robin
