In a poignant post from May 2020, 'mywrongwrist' (Luca) shared his family's return to Milan as Italy began to ease its initial COVID-19 lockdown. His reflections offer a unique snapshot of a global moment, highlighting the role of the WatchProSite community in providing 'leggerezza'—lightness—during unprecedented times. Luca's gratitude and the community's response underscore the enduring human need for connection and shared passion, even amidst uncertainty.

tomorrow me and my family will come back home...

Good bye to the mountains, back to the “new normal” with partial cancellation of some restrictions of the lockdown here in Italy

Fingers crossed as everyone is saying in my poor Country “Tutto andrà bene!!!”, something like “Everything will go well!!!”

Back in the center of the pandemic, but we need to take actions otherwise I do believe the future won’t be the same, I fear of being well in a sort of a comfort zone, too lazy...

I want only to thank everyone in this great community for the support and the laughs and the exchanges we had over the last long weeks (didn’t they seem like years?), I really, really have a debt with you all, you made my days easier, with some “leggerezza” as Italo Calvino (one of the greatest Italian writers) wrote once to be one of the most important attitude to cope with the toughness of living 🙏🙏🙏 now you to figure out what “leggerezza” means...

This is not a goodbye, is only from my tired heart again a great thanks to all of you, I’m proud to be part of this community and I dream to meet in person as many of you as I will be able to when possible

🙏🙏🙏
Ciao, un abbraccio
Luca

Bye, bye for any foreseeable future:

My wonderful kids when I was typing with you:

Survival kit under pandemic:

Unreal vision:

Almost ready to start my engine:

Do you have un cuore pesante now that you’re leaving such beautiful surroundings? Hope all will go well.

And please, don’t lower the guard once you’re there. Basic bio safety measures are here to stay, since this is going to be around from now on. I agree with you, this great community is a great relief in difficult times. Buen viaje! René

The unintended double post created this beautiful and highly symmetrical landscape on my iPad. Pretty cool!

back home, everything fine, NO cars or police on the road... But you are more than right!!! Definitely too many people outside here in Milan... scaring to some extent vs what I saw in the mountains over these two months of lockdown... let’s see 🤞🤞🤞 Stay always safe, healthy and happy!!! 🙏🙏🙏 Ciao Luca
