Bill reflects on 14 years and 20,000 posts on WatchProSite, distilling the essence of the platform into one powerful word: 'Community.' He emphasizes how virtual friendships have blossomed into lifelong connections, extending beyond watches into shared passions, and encourages members to invite new friends to enrich the forum.

I wanted to try and boil down the essence of what this site is all about. After thinking about it for a while and kicking words around like passion and compulsion. I settled on this word which as simple as it may sound fits my experience here.

Community

I have made so many virtual friends which have turned into life long friends if consider 14 years a lifetime. The reality is these friendships translate very will from this community platform to the real world the conversation just flows and you find we all have similar passions beyond watches.

I don’t want to name names as there would be too many to thank but i wanted to thank the moderators that keep the trains on time and all the members that bring smiles to all of us with every post.

Let us all make it our mission this year to tell a friend and build the community of like minded collectors. My goal is to invite 10 friends over the year. So don’t be shy and click on the little head and invite a friend.

Although I’ve been relatively quiet over the years, I must say I truly appreciate the input of such a great group of enthusiasts, and being able to login and peruse the forum is really a great escape from the day-to-day trials and tribulations. It’s all good Niall
