Amanico recounts the first of two Italian GTGs, offering a glimpse into a gathering of passionate watch collectors. His post captures the essence of these community events: good company, excellent food, and a remarkable display of diverse timepieces. The article highlights specific watches shared, emphasizing the unique stories and camaraderie that define WatchProSite meetups.

Ok, the first of our 2 GTGs is over, but still, with many nice souvenirs in our heads...

A nice place, a good lunch, excellent company, and... Watches.

Too many watches so I will let Massimiliano, KMII and Gigi discussing them. As well as plates, as I saw that KM II took some food pictures.

I will post some watches they brought with them.

Let's start by KMII's Chopard Chronograph.

A very nice looking watch, I just regret the presence of that date. For the rest, very convincing, I must say.

Massi came with his two champions, a superb Speedmaster with a météorite dial which surprised me as I didn't get that even the black dial was made in meteorite!

And his not less superb G.O Senator Perpetual!

A winning cocktail, here: The Senator case and dial, well known by the amateurs of the brand, full of character and strength, with a certain elegance, a powerful dial, and the perpetual calendar complication.

Without forgetting to mention a very nice looking movement. Always a pleasure to see this one in the real.

Our Gigi came with a Nautilus Chrono, Ref 5980, which I will certainly take in picture during our next GTG;

With time passing, I think it became my favorite Nautilus, since the 3700.

Time passed as a lightning, 7 hours with friends, you don't see time passing. Better, you loose any notion of time, which is a paradox for watch lovers.

Next stop over, Croatia, on next Tuesday. I have the feeling it won't be disappointing!

Stay tuned.

Best,

Nicolas

The date, yes, it would be better without, but this is a very nice chrono! Best, Nicolas

And I am looking forward to many more! The food was good, the watches sublime (although when Nico brings a \'couple\', this is still 80% of what is on the table ) and the company wonderful! Sadly I again had to leave a bit early ( it was claimed with the worst excuse possible) but next time no drive back to Vienna or family transport Here two pictures - starter... (We all went or the healthy salad choice) And dessert... As for the reserve de padron, only the padron can share that A fantastic GTG

Thank you so much for playing with your " in law's flexibility " and for the lunch, my friend. I didn't take a table shot, this time, because of the poor light, but I hope we'll be luckier in Croatia. Nicolas
