Amanico's post captures the essence of WatchProSite's community spirit, showcasing an informal yet vibrant GTG (Get-Together) in Paris. This gathering, featuring several forum moderators, highlights the strong friendships and shared passion for horology that define the community, proving that the setting is secondary to the company and the watches. The post offers a delightful glimpse into the camaraderie that underpins the online discussions.

And obviously had a great time...

The Bastardos Gang gathered once again, in Paris.

But for the first time, it was quite a Moderators GTG,since our dear Baron is your Rolex Moderator for a while, now ( how long, Joe, a good year, isn't it? ), and our not less dear Blomman has recently taken his functions, 2 months ago.

As you can guess, we had a blast, not only because we saw many watches, but because I like to think we are strong friends.

So, it all started by a sunny appetizer... Well, to be precise, let's say breakfast, as Damjan was not here to transform the breakfast in appetizer... wink

Croissant or Pain au Chocolat? Here, I would make an exception and go for the Croissant:

As for the drinks, the chocolat au lait was very popular... The question was " would you take it with a GMT, or not "?

There were not only Vintage Rolexes, but also some very nice JLCs, and a lovely Vintage GP Diver, the Ref 9076, which Blomman recently reviewed on the GP Forum.

The GP:

The JLCs:

To end in an horological orgy.obviously our  very own " very bad trip ".  smile  smile  smile

Well, a few other things happened, too, but " what happened in Paris has to stay in Paris "... smile

These gatherings are always great and intense moments.

Best,

Nicolas

Pretty well! ;) As for the two watches you are mentionning, one is the Re Edition of the Vulcain Cricket Nautical 1970. I am preparing a review on this one. Best, Nicolas

Must be very intense! :) So many nice timepieces and vintage ones. Thanks for sharing Nicolas! McDonald's food and coffee goes well with watches too! Need not always be in high end settings so long as the company of friends (and watches) are enjoyable! Glad you all had a good time. Kong, horo and I should meet up in Singapore soon! Cheers Robin

But not McDonald's in Singapore. A local hawker center perhaps! :) Cheers Robin

The last photo is crazy! But then, let's consider the participants in this GTG, and it is less surprising. ;-) Best regards to all three of you. respo
