KMII chronicles a memorable gathering of five Purists in Vienna, highlighting the invaluable experience of connecting face-to-face with fellow collectors. While most of our interaction takes place here, those moments, when we get to meet fellow Purists face to face are really the cherry on the cake of our mutual hobby

Had just such an opportunity today with hs111, Raymond, his charming wife and their wonderfully behaved son (wish my daughter grows up like that) and me sharing food, watches and stories of our collecting

We just managed to order some water, when the watches were already off and the table started filling up instantly.

Germany, Switzerland, Russia and Japan were all represented

More watches entered the fray, were tried on, commented upon and compared...

Travel was a common theme

There was some novelty for everyone, too...

And then finally the food arrived. Which was good, because...

...that meant the final unveiling of the day - some vintage favourites that I have only been able to admire on PuristSPro so far

While desert was great...

...it just couldn't compete with what else was on offer

I can only thank all Purists involved for a lovely time and we can rest assured that there is a next generation growing up that will follow in our footsteps

And I am sure that both Raymond and hs111 will add some pics and comments of their own

To meet new and old friends, to see and discover watches you never saw before in real... Enjoying each others company. You must have had a great time! I am happy to see GP was very well represented! Hope one day to make a Austrian GTG. Best Blomman
