Jleno boldly challenges the WatchProSite community to identify the 'worst watch ever made,' nominating the Romain Jerome Pokemon Tourbillon as his prime candidate. I'm going to throw in my vote for this abomination: the Romain Jerome Pokemon Tourbillon

I usually don't like to hate on watches, but this is one of the select few that I would actually wish out of existence is possible. I remember Tim Mosso once talking about it. Tim's the kind of guy that can put positive light on any watch, but he was struggling to keep his composure with this one. The case is hideous, so is the enamel dial, and the tourbillon makes things so much worse by combining poor taste with extravagance. A true nightmare watch!

Don't get me wrong, as a child of the 90s I love pokemon! But they shouldn't be getting anywhere near $100K+ timepieces. And to top it all off, RJ couldn't even stick to the original 150 pokemon on the dial!

Any other candidates for "worst watch ever" that you guys can think of?

And in this way I feel sorry for all these multi-billionaires. Whether it’s blinging out a Casio or dropping 31 million on a Patek, it strikes me as an attempt to find the next “high”, but I imagine the feeling of euphoria is a fleeting one. NickO

... the ones I hate are the Titanic series, too much profiting off the dead for my taste. A brand I usually really hate is Jacob and Co. I'll single out this one (from the web obviously), not just for the absurd conspicuous consumption but also for the general layout awfulness. Best Andreas

....I described the WG Pepsi GMT that came out a few years back as ‘an abomination’. Maybe ‘worst watch of all time’ is hyperbolic, but I remember finding it really disappointing. It struck me as very cynical.

I didn't actually think that anyone was going to be able to top the RJ when I made this post. But if you put a gun to my head, didn't allow me to choose having my brains blown out as an option, and forced me to wear one of these watches, I might actually prefer to wear the RJ over this. Seriously, WTF Jacob&Co!??!?!
