sorry for the not-too-terrific pics...































overall, I think the new deployant is definitely more stately, and prominent and certainly more ergonomic, easily to grasp and trigger open. it does seem a tad bit too big at first but after 3 weeks I seem to be accepting it...

The tight fit of the previous deployant . . .

. . . took some getting used to here as well. It's secure, all right, but takes more than the usual amount of exertion to unfold. The initial pull is fairly easy, but the second jerk takes much more than the usual amount of effort. Thanks very much for the comparison, shing - that was an awful lot of work on your part, and very much appreciated. Would it be too much to ask for a wrist shot of your El Primero? Cordially, Art
