Flamenco shares his recent acquisition, the Zenith New Vintage 1965, a timepiece he describes as 'less seen' and a charming departure from Zenith's more famous El Primero chronographs. His post highlights the watch's understated elegance and practical features, offering a fresh perspective on Zenith's Elite-powered dress watches. This article explores why this particular model resonated with a seasoned collector.
Very nice. I own (or better, my wife owns -- she confiscated it) an old version. It's also very nice but I notice that yours has a better and bigger crown. Congratulations, Nilo
Always liked the Elite series.
Wow! Nilo! U must have one of the most extensive private collection of Zeniths! Think the crown is about the same size. Pulled it out during photography. Not sure if its better, since it hard to pull out. Not seen the one u pictured, but would certainly love to try it on. Like the very clean n understated looks!
The elites tend to be more discreet, just the way I like it! Thanks for looking.
i would prefer an original piece, but they are hard to come by as they werent massive sellers when new. i've owned a couple of square watches and always liked them. perhaps its time to target one. best Graham.
Read my lips .... M O N A C O ... Make that a vintage ! I certainly picture u with a square ! :)
