The UTC never became a popular FPJ watch. Some people complain that the globe disk is too difficult to read. My personal objection was that the bright colors of the globe did not bled well with the rest of the dial. However, I feel that issue has disappeared with this new blue dial. Especially on the Pt version, I think it works well. Chances of ever seing one of these in the wild are slim as only 10 pieces of each metal will be manufatured. If anyone here encounter one of these blue dials, please post live pictures as I would love to see and hear more.

What do you think? An improvement or do you prefer the original?

I am in full agreement I always thought the colorful world dial is not really integrated in the dial but something of an alien object. The blue dial is a huge improvement, especially with th Pt version. Still it’s not in my Top 5 of the greatest Journe watches, but in this vers...

Agree it is still not in top 5. There are just better FPJ watches The globe does add some energy to to the dark blue. Thank you for chiming in, Daniel.

agreed I liked the Platinum with blue face enough that I committed to buying one - but they were all spoken for, even before the official press release!

That blue dial and rose gold case again. Pretty good I think. It was never a reference that sat well with me, aesthetics and honestly I didn’t think it was that easy to read.

No, I feel a GMT should be much more legible. No

Never quite like it I hope there would be new FPJ travel watches though!

I agree. And something built on the OCTA would be fine But it has to be much more simple to operate and read. Otherwise we always have the Resonance for travel.

A new dial for the Quantième Perpétuel has been announced I think the new dial looks more modern and lighter than the previous which, I btw, also quite like. I love the rhodium plated hands and the applied numerals. Our very own cmmnsens recently posted some nice live pictures of it. Thank you for that - we really appreciate it.
