The result of this exact calculation is a moonphase display which will be off by only one day over the next 1058 years!! The A Lange Sohne 1815 Moon Phase watch is an hommage to Emil Lange, and the caseback is engraved as such. This is a limited edition, in platinum, of 150 watches, and this is watch number 14X / 150. Emil Lange was the second son of the company's founder Adolph Lange. Emil Lange went on to manage the company for 40 years, from 1875 until 1915. Under his stewardship, A Lange & Sohne grew from being a German market firm to an international company. This watch was produced to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Emil Lange's birth. The case of this watch is platinum with dimensions of 36mm by 8mm thick. Sapphire crystals front and back.
