- Dial remind you of the Simplicity by Dufour? Good eye! It is a Metalam guilloche dial - Dufour used a Metalam guilloche dial for the Simplicity.
- Movement is the Cal 1.96 movement is absolutely spectacular and lives up to the hype. Geneva seal and a level above the Patek Cal 240 movement without a doubt.
In sum: Limited edition piece, exceptional - 37mm rose gold case, Geneva seal Cal 1.96 movement, world class dial - pictures speak for themselves.
- Do not confuse this with the other Chopard with the lesser quality non-Geneva seal 3.96 movement and flat non-Guilloche dial.
- I have owned peers to this watch like the Lange 1815 first series and the Patek 5120 - this is superior to both, no question in my mind.
At this price level, you are getting the art of a piece that, new, would often cost $25-30k today and has the feel of an indie piece.
